Baby shower Gift Baskets

I know that I have been on a blogging hiatus  and our family has gone through some changes but I am starting to get a handle on things.  My mom asked me to throw something out there and see what kind of a response that I could get for her.
My mom Joanne has made baby shower gift baskets for all the grandchildren and for friends and family and now she wants to start something new and adventurous. I am in need of some opinions of what you think and if she should make more and sell them on different sights such as Etsy?
I have searched around and found hers to be one of the best I have seen, but I am modest. These can be made any size and depending on what you want to include can range in price from $50.00 and up.

What I want is your opinion? I want to know if this is something you would like, small or large or would you be interested in a one stop shopping experience whether it be for a Baby shower such as this one, Birthday Party's, a day at the Beach Theme, or a Just Because type of thing.
Let me know, drop me a comment here or on Facebook. We are open to suggestions and for opinions.

It's a new year and Hope for a good one.

Well we are just starting 2011 and not sure what it going to hold for us but ready and waiting.  The girls and I spent New years first at my parents house for a little dinner and then a quite night at home. Kids were fast asleep around 10:30p.  Everyone is missing daddy but trying to make the best of it and we will see him soon either here or there.
For those of you who do not know my brother in law has been fighting brain cancer for the past nine years and is now in the final states and there is nothing more they can do for him but keep him comfortable.  This is going to be hard on our oldest daughter but she does understand as much as a ten year old can.  So my husband sacrificed Christmas with us to be with him.  Jay we love you very much and wish we all could be there but were are here thinking and praying for you.  With this being said we know we are going to have a sad start to 2010 but praying that this year will get better.
We just finished holiday break and Ciera is back in school so we can now get some kind of order back into our day and the little ones day.  Anyone know why it is total chaos when there is a 10, 4, and 2 years old in the house and trying to play or not play together. So today the little ones are coloring together playing play dough and having a ball. I got some cleaning done while they played and that made for a good day.
Everyone talks about New Years resolutions but me I never make them or keep them so not really a good thing for me. I do have some goals that I would like to share and hope to stick to them.
First goal is to blog more often and grow with it,
Second is to finish the Twilight series, I know I am way behind but with the kids and school it never ends.
Third is to find a way to support my family either by working from home or if I absolutely have to out of the house and this I will attribute my growing Ebay store.  Maybe even start something of my own we will have to figure that out.
Last is to eat healthy as a family and to become more active with the girls.
These are some big things that I want to do so I will keep those of you that read my blog updated and if you like to read about the ups and downs of my family let your Friends know and we will GROW and GROW.
Everyone have a safe and happy 2011!

Hard times are still around.

I know it has been while since my last post but I have been going from here to there and everywhere with my daughters cheer. The girls took home 4th place at Regionals in Orlando and we were so proud. That ended just after Thanksgiving and then we went right into Christmas. Christmas has been very hard financially and not knowing what is going to come next. How long are we going to be in our house and moving and how the possibility of saying goodbye to my husbands Brother Jay who is 35 and dying of brain cancer is going to affect my husband and my oldest daughter who he has been close to him since he was diagnosed and she was just a year old.  The thought just brakes my heart.
This year has been full of ups and downs and I should say more down then up but we are all trying to make our way though it and I hope we as a family come out on top.
I know that there is a path for this family I just wish that I had a clue on where it was going to take us.  The fear of the unknown is what scares me.
2010 has not been a good year and I hope that 2011 will be better opportunity wise, financially and bring more opportunities into our lives.  Because unemployment sucks.

Unemployeed and trying to make ends meet

I know there are so many americans that are out of work and trying to get by each and every day and I feel for all of you.  Up until August of this year I had worked since I was sixteen non stop and sometimes even two jobs and up out of the blue I was fired.  I am the soul provider of the family due to my husband having major back problems and unable to work.  I can not put into words how this feels when you look everyday for a job and find nothing that you are interested in or in your field or when you go to a job interview and it goes well and you think you have the job then only to find out that you were not chosen.

The holidays are quickly approaching and we are all trying to be positive and move forward but it is so hard for me to keep going day by day,  I know that when one door opens another one opens but sometimes I get frustrated waiting for the open door.
I have my family and sometimes I don't talk about how I am feeling but I know that if I wanted to pour my heart out that they would be there and listen.
